~ Caring ~

Caring is the most important trait our Caregivers demonstrate. Being a Caregiver is not just a job, it is a calling into which our Caregivers put their heart and soul.

~ Trustworthy ~

Families entrust the lives of their loved ones to our Caregivers. We expect that our Caregivers arrive on time, follow a custom plan of care, and make every effort to address the changing needs of our clients.

~ Patience ~

It takes a very special person to have the patience needed when serving the elderly or the disabled. We seek Caregivers with the ability to adapt knowing that each situation is different.

~ Hardworking ~

Our Caregivers provide a number of homemaker and companion tasks when serving clients; therefore, it is essential that you have a strong work ethic and are receptive to each client's needs.

"There are only four kinds of people in the world — those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers."
- Rosalyn Carter

Caring Companions℠ (our Caregivers) are our greatest asset when it comes to giving care to our clients. When you think about "companionship" what is it that comes to mind? Caring. Friendship. Community. Fun.
As we get older, our situations and circumstances can limit our access to friends. If driving becomes limited or no longer an option, travel may slow down. Often people lose touch with their friends and socializing comes to a halt. The opportunity to keep our clientele socially active is one of the greatest services we can offer.
For example, with an appointment to a doctor, suggest going to lunch with a friend if possible. Pick up the client's friend and take them to coffee or a movie. Our Caregivers can provide the gift of friendship by keeping those we serve connected to their circle of friends.
Friendship is a life giving source. The Caring Companions℠ of Touching Hearts at Home are able to keep friendships together by getting friends together!
