Veterans Community Partnerships Resource Drive-Through Event

The folding of the U.S. flag ceremony was presented during the VCP Resource Drive-through held Friday, Oct 6. in Wichita for area veterans. Dole VA sent a team to provide flu shots for veterans. There were Health care providers on hand to give out information regarding available services as well as financial advisors and others on hand during the four hour event.
Lexus Chrisco and David Settle were on hand at the VCP Resource Drive-through fair held Friday, Oct. 6 in Wichita. They represent Touching Hearts at Home located in McPherson, KS. The resource fair was organized as a way for providers to disseminate information to local veterans regarding available services. The free event ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food trucks were on hand as well as hot coffee. The weather turned cool and windy Friday morning, and although a few raindrops fell early, the event was well attended by area veterans.
