About Us
Daniel Wilson, Owner and President
Dan grew up in Upstate New York near Albany and attended Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a degree in Computer Science. He moved to the Philadelphia region in 1989 and worked in the Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) industry for multiple corporations in several roles, including sales and marketing.
He and his wife, Jane, have lived in the Thorndale area for over 30 years. They have four adult children and one grandchild. Dan enjoys most outdoor activities, including golf, bicycling, skiing, and kayaking, among others. Dan’s favorite activity is riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and has been known to visit clients on it when the weather permits. Dan and Jane are active members of their community, volunteering at local organizations, including the local senior center.
Together with Jane, they started Touching Hearts at Home in 2015, following a process of looking for care for Dan’s dad, who was recently in a terrible automobile accident. While looking for home care for his Dad in NY, they saw the need for an organization to provide quality care for seniors in Chester County, PA. Starting from scratch, they have built one of the best home care agencies, providing great care for their clients all over the county with an awesome team of office personnel and caregiving staff.
