Touching Hearts at Home, Dayton is proud to announce Travis Caudill, LPN recently earned his Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) Trainer Certification from the nationally renowned dementia educator, Teepa Snow.
As a PAC Trainer, Travis will help our care team gain awareness and knowledge by leading classes that will introduce new skills to help optimize the care we provide to our clients living with dementia. These classes will provide a deeper look at the PAC philosophy, various effective techniques, learning styles, and ways to change and decrease the stigma around dementia. He will also help our clients’ family members acquire knowledge on their approach and interactions that will create a more positive dementia care atmosphere for all concerned.
Through his extensive experience working with individuals living with dementia, Travis was an ideal candidate for this certification. We are delighted to have a PAC Certified Independent Trainer on our care team to serve the growing need for dementia care in our local community.
