Touching Hearts at Home Hosts “Karaoke for a Cause” to Benefit Alzheimer’s Raises $2,000 to #ENDALZ!

Touching Hearts at Home, Florida’s top-rated private-duty home care agency hosted “Karaoke for a Cause” on Monday, June 23, 2025 to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. This community fundraiser supports the Alzheimer’s Association, the Gainesville Walk to End Alzheimer’s and was held in conjunction with The Longest Day, a nationwide initiative that raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. A special thank you to our community partners who joined Touching Hearts at Home to make the event a success: Serenation Station, Haven Hospice, Magnolia Ridge Rehabilitation and The Windsor of Gainesville. Alzheimer’s Care Gainesville, FL – Touching Hearts at Home Hosts “Karaoke for a Cause” to Benefit Alzheimer’s, Raises $2,000 to #ENDALZ!

Participants competed in four categories: Best Business, Best Team, Best Individual, and Best Child. A panel of Gainesville-based celebrity judges voted live and announced the winners in each category. A very special thank you to this year’s VIP Celebrity Judges: Brett Douglas (KISS 105.3), Jeff Cardozo (ESPN Gainesville), Meteorologist Stuart Baker (WCJB TV20), Lewis Stokes (K Country), Livin’ Large Larry (100.9 The Beach), Meteorologist Stuart Baker (TV20), Eric Godet (Gainesville Chamber of Commerce), Janalyn Peppel (Mainstreet Daily News), and Rynni Henderson (Gainesville City Lifestyle). Becky Dee (103.7 The Gator) and Christina Ramos (Touching Hearts at Home) will emcee the event.

“This event was about more than music and karaoke —it was about hope,” said Christina M. Ramos, Executive Director & Administrator of Touching Hearts at Home. “Alzheimer’s has touched the lives of many of the families we serve, including my own family’s. Karaoke for a Cause is a way to turn our grief into impact by raising awareness and lifting voices in support of those facing this devastating disease. We’re also remembering and honoring those who we have lost to this terrible disease.”
