Are the caregivers bonded and insured?
Yes. All Touching Hearts at Home caregivers are bonded and insured.
How do you screen your caregivers?
We are committed to choosing compassionate caregivers who we would trust to care for our own family and loved ones. We select qualified, reliable, honest and kind people who genuinely enjoy helping seniors and people with disabilities.
All applicants are prescreened for their suitability in the work of caregiving, using a professional personality and work styles questionnaire that was developed by CareProfiler exclusively for screening and hiring direct-care staff. Our interviews are behaviorally-based. We conduct a thorough background check, including criminal record, driving record, and no fewer than 3 personal and professional references.
How does my service begin?
We meet with you personally for a free in-home consultation and design a program together.
Next, we carefully select and introduce a qualified caregiver who will lend a hand to make your life easier. You will see the same friendly face each visit.
We start with an in-home consultation which is free of charge. Meeting person-to-person is the best way to talk about service options and design a care program together. You will be asked about your preferences regarding the type of person you prefer to provide service in your home. Your Touching Hearts at Home representative will carefully select a caregiver best prepared to meet your needs.
What if I need to cancel a visit or cancel service?
We request that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a visit or cancel service.

Will I have a choice in who comes to my home?
Yes. Our experienced staffing coordinators will make an informed decision regarding a caregiver who has the personality, skills and availability to best help you. If at any time or for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a caregiver we will gladly make the necessary changes.
How do I make changes to my scheduled visits?
We understand that situations can change quickly. Just call us at 612-888-2378 We'll be glad to discuss your needs and make necessary changes. We will always be flexible and accommodate your request as quickly as possible.
