David and Anita Settle began their journey with Touching Hearts at Home in October of 2017 when they decided the best way to serve their community and the elderly population in central Kansas was to open their own local Touching Hearts at Home office in McPherson, Kansas.

Choosing McPherson as their base allowed them to efficiently cover not only the local area but also the neighboring cities of Salina, Newton, Hutchinson, Lyons, and Great Bend. This strategic location choice helped them to maximize their outreach and service capabilities.

They officially opened their McPherson office on April 1, 2018, and quickly gained traction in the community, securing their first client by the end of April. Their success is evident in the impact they’ve made since their inception, having served over 250 families in the area. This feat not only demonstrates their commitment to their work but also highlights the trust and reliance placed in them by their community.
