Jim Haskins, Sr. is President and Owner of Touching Hearts at Home in Ocala and The Villages.

Often, due to distance or busy schedules, families are not available to help a loved one with the tasks of daily living or offer support in various other ways. Jim’s goal is to help seniors have improved quality of life and care, so they can remain in the comfort of the home they love.

As a former United States Marine who proudly served, Jim understands the value of team work. He has built a team of well-trained carers (caregivers) to provide individuals and families with a variety of person-centered services.

His family-owned and operated business provides quality non-medical in-home care to older adults living with medical conditions, disabilities, or the progressive changes that come with aging.

Jim is committed to helping his community and has been a Certified Professional Guardian in the State of Florida since 2005. Jim’s mother, Fredricka, was also a Professional Guardian who dedicated three decades to advocating for the needs of her clients. Jim, in turn, has passed on his love of helping others to his son, Jimmy, who also works in the family business, making three generations of Haskins to care for the needs of their neighbors.

For these reasons, serving the community with dedication and integrity is at the heart of Touching Hearts at Home North Central Florida.
