About Us

Debra was born in Massachusetts. She was introduced to medicine early, growing up over her father’s Family Practice. After graduating from college and obtaining her MBA, Debra worked in business for 15 years. Despite a successful career, Debra felt that she was meant to make a difference in people’s lives. Debra made the decision to return to school for a Master Degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked with all ages and illnesses in both a treating, and more recently, an administrative capacity directing an Orthopedic Program at Banner Health. Debra is excited to be able to utilize her many years of healthcare experience as owner of a Touching Hearts Franchise. She states, “I feel like I am finally where I was meant to be!”

Jan was born and raised in East Kilbride, (just outside Glasgow) in Scotland. As an adult, she has also lived in Oregon, Ireland and has been here in Arizona for 13 years. Jan has been married for 27 years and has 3 boys. Growing up and regularly helping care for elderly grandparents, Jan has gained experience with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Strokes. Jan’s business career includes 33 years of customer service, including running a successful real estate business for the last decade. Touching Hearts at Home is a natural fit for Jan’s background. She is excited to have the opportunity to care for people and build a business with heart and compassion.
