No matter what age, from younger adults to older seniors, people need help at different times for different reasons. We are a reliable resource for in-home care whether needed when you least expect it, or when you carefully plan for it.

How do I determine what care is needed?

To help determine what you need, please reach out to our office. A trained member of our care team will listen and help you determine the best steps to take next. This initial phone call or communication leads to an in-person visit that can be done by a Zoom/virtual call or face-to-face in the comfort of your home. An in-person visit is ideal to help determine the level of care our experience can identify. If you are seeking help for a loved one, we always prefer to meet both you and the person(s) that needs care.

Most often there is an existing medical condition, disability, or natural progression that comes with aging that prompts the need for help. We look for signs of loneliness and depression. We ask about the activities of daily living that need an extra set of hands to complete. If there is memory loss, we know how to help.

How do you choose a care plan?

A care plan is designed during the initial consultation. There is no charge for this first visit, which can last up to approximately an hour and a half. When a professional Caregiver begins service, this care plan is evaluated and adjusted if necessary. The goal is to provide the right amount of care to bring the maximum quality of life.

How do I pay?

Home care is most typically paid for through private pay, long term care insurance, and sometimes veterans assistance, among other organizations. There is often a combination of options used, including family members who choose to share in the cost. Invoicing clearly shows the times our care was provided to meet the requirements of insurance providers in cases where it applies. Touching Hearts at Home invoices directly to the client or provider where applicable.
