We can offer short-term, long term/permanent, respite, and end of life 24/7 options. Included with our live-in care service is a Touching Hearts personalized care coordinator, who visits regularly, supports the client and family members, helps identify and coordinate care needs, creates a care plan that evolves as needs change, and can help provide resources, problem solving and advocacy.
With over 13 years of reliable live-in care services, we are a trusted caregiver resource for area families. We offer both male and female live-in caregivers who are trained in dementia, hospice, medical equipment use and safety. Our caregiving staff is fully screened, vetted, and evaluated for attitude, competency, and communication. Offering caring support to adults and seniors in single family homes, apartments and senior communities, we have trusted partnerships with area hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, hospice agencies and senior placement specialists, working together to keep our clients healthy and safe. Touching Hearts has the ability to support more complex medical cases at home with nurse care management oversight.
In 2022, Touching Hearts had over 60,000 hours of live-in care with 100% coverage. We accept most long-term care insurances, and our private pay rates are discounted approximately 30% off our hourly rates. Our rates are based on one client, however couples rates are also available.
Our 24/7 live-in caregiving coverage area includes: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Sheboygan, Dodge, and Jefferson counties.
Touching Hearts has provided such relief with one live-in caregiver. We no longer worry about whether mom & dad’s caregivers are going to show up for their shift, having to deal with constant scheduling issues or if yet another new caregiver would be sent, unfamiliar to our parents and unaccustomed to their routine.
Dad was so happy he could go home from the rehab hospital before he transitioned into a community. With the live-in caregiver’s safety oversight, he was not readmitted to the hospital as had happened before. Our family was so relieved knowing he was receiving the interim care support he needed before moving.
I did not feel comfortable sending my husband to rehab after knee replacement surgery due to his dementia. Touching Heart’s (one) live-in caregiver service allowed us to go straight home from the hospital, enabling my husband to rehab in familiar surroundings at home with around the clock personalized one on one care. We only needed caregiving services for a little over a week—Touching Hearts was a perfect solution for our temporary situation.
